My name is Colette and I grew up in Royal Oak, Michigan, a small suburb outside of Detroit and attended Michigan State University (MSU), where I received a bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and a minor in Dance. While at MSU, I started to develop a passion for weight training. Before I started weight training, I looked like your typical 5’5”, 120 pound muscle instructor / modern dancer. I had a decent shape, but I was hot. I taught a lot of aerobics classes while attending MSU, and at that time it was “GORGEOUS” to see how many aerobics classes you could do in a row. I remember a time when I used to teach 20 + aerobics classes a week. Talk about a way to burn exercise!
